One Response to welcome to bears

    Hello again Claude and Patrick
This is a copy of the review I have submitted to Tripadvisor. Also I have passed on your details to some friends here in the Carcassonne area – Elise and Gerard – who are keen to book a visit to Nimes. We look forward to staying with you again in the future.

“Relaxing, friendly, informal, adults only B&B ideal for all visiting Nimes and area”

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights during August 2015.
On arrival we were greeted and shown round the garden, pool, jacuzzi, kitchen etc by our hosts and made to feel welcome. Our bungalow was one of three in the extensive gardens, with luxury features like a king size bed, stunning shower room and free wi-fi.
The hosts showed us how everything worked and were always on hand to ensure that anything needed for our stay was provided.
This is a fantastic place to stay – “gay friendly” this place certainly is – but this must not be confused with “exclusively gay” (which this B&B is not) – this is a wonderful place to stay for any adult couples who want to get away from the noisy atmosphere created by young children.
The atmosphere was greatly enhanced by the other guests at the guesthouse. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming – explaining things which they had discovered about the area and recommending things to do. Marc, from Luxemburg, recommended “Jeudi de Nimes” – for a lively Thursday evening out – and he was right with the suggestion where what seemed like thousands of people descended on the centre of Nimes to enjoy free entertainment, night markets and dining etc.
We visited Tour Magna, Maison Carrée, Nimes Arena; Pont du Gard (each one a delight to see and visit) – keeping our exploration of the area to the mornings – so that we could head back to the relaxing atmosphere of the guest house in the afternoons to lounge by the pool, take a dip when it got too hot, and lounge a little more.
This stay was outstanding in every way. On our last day the hosts kindly allowed us to not only leave our cases etc at the house whilst we made further morning visits – but also welcomed us to use the facilities throughout the afternoon so we could time our departure to suit traffic conditions etc.
All in all, 5 stars for everything – if I could give 6 or more then I would do. If we stay in the area again in the future there can be nowhere better than this for the overall experience of relaxation. Highly recommended for all adults (whether gay or straight).

Stayed August 2015, traveled as a couple
